This is a VERY NICE unit but its to large for P22, fits P99 with picatinny but its a tight fit. This unit is probably best suited for G22 or larger sized pistols. On another note the plastic casing of this unit, exspecially the back battery cover is thick plastic and I think it would be very easy to sand down spots with a dremel for custom fitting to P22's etc .. (see picture of unit mounted on P99 RAM for idea of size)
